Born in Deadwood and raised in Meade County of Western South Dakota, I grew up on a farm/ranch just east of the Black Hills in Bear Butte Valley. I have spent most of my life in the Black Hills area, where western values are still important.  My passion for the outdoors has taken me to many of the incredible locations through out the Black Hills region, so whether it’s a springtime branding or camping in the high country I’m at home in the Black Hills or on the prairie.

After growing up in Northeast Iowa, I graduated from Iowa State Univeristy in Ames. I have been a licensed and bonded grain dealer since 1986 and also farmed and fed cattle West River.

I enjoy the outdoor activities the Black Hills have to offer and am happy to call Rapid City my home with my wife Chris. We have three grown children and two grandchildren.

I enjoy visiting with people and look forward to assisting you with your real estate and auction needs.

Raised in Onida, South Dakota, Jon grew up on a purebred Black Angus operation with his parents, Ellis & Pat and two brothers. In 2002, Jon moved to Sturgis, SD where he married Breezy Sigman. Jon, Breezy, their son Ryle and daughter Kobi have a registered Black Angus operation southeast of Newell, SD where they run approximately 225 head of cattle and host their annual Millar Angus bull sale every February.  In September of 2010, Jon fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming an auctioneer when he attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering. Jon thoroughly enjoys getting the chance to work with Bob and the rest of the crew at United Country Black Hills Real Estate and Auction. Although the ranch work never seems to slow down, he looks forward to and enjoys the days when he gets to work the auction ring for United Country.

Wayne is our go to guy here at United Country for set up and manual clerking. Wayne has been associated with auctions for many years in all aspects of the auction business. Wayne is also licensed for selling real estate at auction.

Roy and Rhonda have helped with us from the start with auctions and pretty much do it all from cashering to setup to ringing to clerking to cleanup! They pretty much do it all!!

I was born and raised in Sturgis and have resided in the area my entire life.  I live just north of Sturgis with my husband, Rich. We have three grown children and eight grandchildren.

I enjoy meeting and getting to know people from all walks of life. One of my greatest pleasures, (besides my grandchildren!) comes from helping my real estate clients attain their real estate dreams.
